KMK: Independence Movement Day

Independence Movement Day
Happy Independence Movement Day! On every March 1st Korea celebrates the beginning of the Korean Independence movement when fighters announced Korea’s declaration of Independence from Japanese colonialism in 1919.
I haven’t posted in awhile because I have been job hunting and interviewing. I’ve landed a new position and will be posting pics and info on my new neighborhood soon. The holiday has been celebrated since 1949. I’ll have to go out and explore to find any celebratory events.
