Last week, after work, we headed over to Dongdaemun Night Market for some late night shopping.
Dongdaemun Market is on line 2, 4, and 5 just exit on Dongdaemun Stadium.
This is what happens when your T-money card scans and deducts money, but the turnstyle fails to cooperate.
Dongdaemun is one market where there are more shoppers after the midnight hour than before. Tons of stores and stalls hidden in nooks and crannies along the street, fling open their doors for the mob of shoppers.
Most anything can be had from sunglasses, and belts, to jeans and t-shirts, and every other kind of accessory imaginable.
Even snacks for those craving something sugary can be snatched up for a low low price.
Finding a size 16 sneaker, though, was a problem that even Dongdaemun didn’t have an answer for.
The neon colors, bright lights, and throngs of shoppers make the market a fun experience. Be prepared to snarling traffic and blaring horns of annoyed drivers trying to make their way through the congested streets.
Though we didn’t purchase much, the window shopping and people watching proved to be just as fun as any wild shopping spree.
