KMK: Neighborhood Market

Neighborhood Market

On the way from my apartment to the subway there is a Korean Market. The market is a long alleyway that stretches for several blocks. It has umbrellas and makeshift roofs and plastic to shield it from rain during a storm.
You can buy everything and anything in this market. Stores with shirts and dresses.
In the need of bedding or pillows? Have no fear the Korean market is here!
Dire emergency? Has that special undergarment gone missing? No worries.

Meat comes in all forms from beef and chicken and pork to the all consuming sea food.

Shellfish, yum.
Fish: Fresh, dried, or ready to eat!
I’m not sure what these are above, but I’m sure they are tasty!
Salt n’ Pepa are here n’ they’re in effect!
Grains and beans and nuts and most everything else for your dietary needs.
mmm tomatoes.
Mushrooms, galore. Korea has mushrooms I’ve never heard of or seen before.

Vegetables are a big staple over here.
Scallions and green beans.
The ubiquitous onion stalk.

Eggplant and cabbage and enough other greens to make any vegetarian drool in hunger.

Black berries! I hope.

And the fruits are just as delicious with pineapples and oranges and apples and some weird thing I can’t pronounce but will look up for you.
