Hana Bank is one of the top Korean Banks in the country. I opened my account with them because my workplace does business there and they are used to the teachers coming to open accounts or transfer money or trying to get a credit card.
My whole banking experience from walking in to walking out with a spanking new Visa bank card was about forty minutes. Not bad considering I only had my passport at the time and no idea even how to say hello in Korean.
They issued a bank book to me which I thought went out with Medieval times, but I guess not. I haven’t even used it yet which is sad.
When payday rolls around it should be instantly deposited in my account and bills should be deducted monthly. It’s as easy as that.
